Background
Matt Ewing is the director of New Media Ventures, a Democracy Alliance project focused on investing in early stage new media organizations. Previously he was the national field director at MoveOn. Over his 5 years at MoveOn, Matt developed the organization's innovative national grassroots organizing model and helped to design and direct the 2006 and 2008 GOTV campaigns. He is a graduate of Grinnell College and Green Corps, the field school for environmental organizing. He is also a former Senior Fellow at the New Organizing Institute.
