Jesse oversees Green Corps’ outreach to hundreds of college campuses and student networks to recruit and select the incoming class of Green Corps organizers. He also coordinates our online outreach and serves as a trainer for numerous student activist conferences. Prior to his current role, Jesse served as a Green Corps Assistant Organizing Director and led teams of organizers to register young voters in the fall of 2004 with U.S. PIRG’s New Voters Project and protect the Endangered Species Act with Defenders of Wildlife. As a Green Corps trainee, Jesse helped generate the grassroots pressure needed to convince Royal Caribbean to install pollution control technology on their entire fleet of ships, a huge victory for Oceana’s Stop Cruise Pollution campaign. Jesse received a degree in Political Science from Haverford College in 2003 and graduated from Green Corps’ Field School for Environmental Organizing in 2004.
