Online Application: 2009-2010 Field School for Environmental Organizing

Step by Step Application Process

1. Application: We are currently taking applications for the 2009-2010 Field School for Environmental Organizing, which begins in early August, 2009.

Applicants must complete the on-line application, below. You may send supporting materials (optional) as described below.

2. Application Deadline: Green Corps accepts applications on a rolling basis—the earlier you apply, the earlier you will be interviewed.

The next round of applications are due October 10, 2008.

3. First Interview: Based on the application and essay, selected candidates will be invited to conduct a 1st round interview (either in-person or over the phone) with a Green Corps representative. We will contact you to schedule this interview. We respond to every application, so check your junk-mail filter if you do not receive an email from us.

4. Second-round Interview Weekend: Based on the application and first interview, selected candidates will be invited to attend a second-round interview weekend, where we hire candidates for the program on a rolling basis. The weekend schedule starts on a Friday at 4pm and ends at 6pm on Saturday.

Upcoming 2nd Round Interviews:

Boston, MA: November 7-8, 2008

Chicago, IL: November 14-15, 2008

We will hold additional interviews in Boston, Chicago, Washington, DC and San Francisco in February and March of 2009.

To be eligible for the Green Corps 2009-2010 program, you must attend a second-round interview in person.

Supporting Materials (Optional)
Please attach to an e-mail any supporting materials that you would like us to consider, and put your name and "Supporting Materials" in the subject of the email. These may include short writing samples, news clips of your activities, written references, and materials you have produced. Please e-mail your supporting materials as an attachment to jobs@greencorps.org.
