Growing up in Pennsylvania, Anjuli got involved in environmental activism at the age of 16, when she spent her summer canvassing with Greenpeace and PennEnvironment, the state’s leading environmental advocacy organization. This early experience led Anjuli to Ithaca College, where she studied politics and minored in environmental studies.
Prior to starting her training with Green Corps, Anjuli worked with multiple Green Corps alumni—most recently with Green Corps ‘02 alumna Kate Smolski, as an intern for the Project Hot Seat campaign. On this campaign, run by Greenpeace USA, Anjuli helped put pressure on key members of Congress to take strong action on global warming.
As senior year approached Anjuli looked for a way to gain more skills and experience in environmental activism. After looking for jobs in the environmental field, she chose Green Corps to take her to the next level. Following introductory training with Green Corps, Anjuli joined the 1Sky Campaign in Des Moines, Iowa, where she is activating citizens to promote climate change solutions.
