Career Placement
Career Placement: Growing the Movement
Hear from Green Corps graduates about how the program helped launch their careers in environmental advocacy and social change. Above: Phil Radford, Green Corps class of 1999, Executive Director, Greenpeace USA. |
After completing the training program, Green Corps connects graduates to groups looking to hire organizers. Green Corps graduates have taken jobs with Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Environment America, Rainforest Action Network, National Wildlife Federation, 350.org, and NRDC, among others. Because these groups need trained organizers to lead major environmental campaigns, Green Corps organizers are able to find professional positions immediately after their year of training.
Green Corps graduates infuse the environmental movement with visionary ideas and tactical skills in grassroots organizing, making a significant impact on some of today's most pressing environmental issues.
